Tara has been part of Cadet Vocational College since 2011 and currently works as a Teaching and Learning Manager, supporting learners across the South.
She has volunteered in youth organisations since 2004, holding a variety of leadership roles within the Army Cadets, Sea Cadet Corps, Scouts, and Combined Cadet Force (RAF).
Her educational background includes vocational study in sports, adventurous activities, leadership and outdoor learning. She has a strong focus on supporting neurodiverse learners and those with additional needs.
Before moving into the education sector, Tara gained experience in customer service, logistics, and administration across several industries.
She is a qualified First Aid Instructor, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Assessor, and multi-discipline Adventure Training Instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and supporting charitable causes.
