Amber Scarth joined Cadet Vocational College in February 2020 as a Teaching and Learning Manager. Based in Wakefield, Amber brings a rich background in education and a passion for helping young people reach their potential.
She graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Sport, Leisure and Culture, before completing a PGCE in Lifelong Learning at the University of Huddersfield. Amber further developed her professional credentials by achieving Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
Before joining CV College, Amber worked across various educational settings, teaching BTEC Sport, NCFE Uniformed Public Services, and bespoke character development curricula to young people aged 7 to 16. She has experience working in Pupil Referral Units and mainstream schools, and also served as an Area Manager for four years, blending leadership with curriculum delivery.
Outside of work, Amber is deeply passionate about health and fitness, training six times a week and competing regularly in CrossFit and Hyrox events. She is also a lifelong Leeds United supporter and enjoys spending time outdoors, attending live music events, and socialising with family and friends.
