This BTEC qualification, worth £1250, is **FREE** for eligible learners.
To be eligible for Cadet Vocational College funding in this current academic year, cadets must be 16+ years old (and under 19) before 31 August 2025. Therefore, they must have been born between 1st Sept 2006 and 31st Aug 2009. Learners must be a member of a cadet or public service organisation in England.

It’s flexible
The course is delivered as part of your cadet activities and you may have already completed some of the required work as part of your training through practical activities such as, volunteering in your community and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. You can also choose to take this qualification at your own pace, so you can fit it in around your schoolwork and other responsibilities.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop employability skills and knowledge that is relevant to you in the wider world.
It’s recognised
This BTEC qualification is recognised by colleges, universities and employers. So, when you complete the course, you’ll have something that you can put on your CV to show that you have the key skills and knowledge that they are looking for.
