2025 Graduation Ceremony

The Cadet Vocational College Graduation Ceremony is the most prestigious event in our calendar, bringing together graduates, their families, and friends to celebrate your remarkable achievements.

 

Our Board of Trustees and a number of VIP guests will also be in attendance to recognise the dedication and success of our learners. The event is also a special opportunity to thank the incredible Cadet Force Adult Volunteers who support young people throughout the year by delivering our vocational qualifications in communities across the UK.

We are pleased to confirm that this year’s ceremony will once again be held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, on Friday 24 October. As places are limited and demand is always high, we encourage you to register promptly if you have received an invitation at:

The venue

Our 2025 Graduation Ceremony will take place at the magnificent and historic Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Friday 24 October.

The ceremony

The ceremony will be held in the Royal Memorial Chapel, just a short walk from the Old College at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. It will be presided over by our Chairman, Lord Lingfield.

Graduates and attendees

In addition to our graduates and their families, the Graduation Ceremony is attended by senior military personnel from across the Armed Forces.

General Information FAQs

  • The graduation ceremony will take place on Friday, 24 October, at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS).

    Important:

    Access to RMAS is via the Staff College Gate, the main entrance.

  • Yes. All eligible graduates will receive an official invitation by e-mail and must RSVP by completing the RSVP form included in the invitation. This is the only way to confirm attendance.

  • Yes, parking is available at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

    All guests must provide their car details when completing the RSVP form to ensure access.

  • If you are arriving by taxi and not using your own vehicle, you must use Forces Cabs Camberley to gain access to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

  • On arrival, all guests must first sign in at the registration desk.

    Graduates will be issued with a welcome card, which will include their chapel seating number, lunch table number, and photograph group details.

    It is your responsibility to ensure that you are seated correctly in the chapel to avoid missing your award. Please listen to all instructions carefully to help the event run smoothly.

  • The venue is accessible; however, please note that there will be a short walk between the Old College and Royal Memorial Chapel. If you or any of your guests require mobility assistance, please indicate this on your registration form so we can make appropriate arrangements.

  • You are welcome to bring up to two guests. The first guest is free, and an additional guest may attend for £30.

    Once you RSVP, we will send you a PayPal link to complete the payment.

    Additional tickets will only be available if they become available, and details on how to request extras will be shared at that time only.

  • Graduates are encouraged to wear academic dress, but gowns are not compulsory.

    Graduates and guests may also wear service dress, a lounge suit, or clothing fitting for the occasion.

  • Gown hire is not compulsory, but most graduates choose to wear academic dress for the ceremony. Gowns can be hired from our official academic dress partner, Ede & Ravenscroft. Please ensure you select Cadet Vocational College as your institution. Click here to visit their website.

    Before starting your order, please have the following to hand:

    • Your head circumference, chest, and height measurements

    • A valid credit or debit card for payment

    You can also hire your gown by calling 01223 734759. Please note, however, that the online discount is not available for telephone orders.

    We strongly recommend placing your order no later than 21 days before the ceremony. While Ede & Ravenscroft do bring a limited number of spare gowns to the event, these are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to higher charges.

    When placing your order, you’ll also have the option to choose from a range of professional photography packages.

  • Graduates and their guests should arrive between 09:30 and 10:30 hrs to allow enough time for registration and preparation before the ceremony.

  • The ceremony typically lasts an hour depending on the number of graduates.

  • Yes, a professional photographer will capture each graduate as they cross the stage. These high-quality photos will be available free of charge via our official Facebook page. To ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the ceremony and that the photographer has an unobstructed view, we kindly request that guests refrain from taking photographs during the event.

  • After the ceremony, photographs will be taken outside the Royal Memorial Chapel. Please make sure to promptly move into position when your group number is called.

    Once the photographs are complete, lunch will be served in the Old College Dining Room at 13:15hrs.

  • No, attending the lunch is optional. If you do not plan to stay for the lunch, please indicate your intention not to stay on the RSVP form.

  • Please inform us of any dietary requirements or food allergies in the RSVP form so we can make the necessary arrangements for catering.

  • The event is expected to conclude by 16:00 hrs. All guests are kindly asked to depart by this time.
