Employability Skills Workshops
Our Employability Skills Workshops are open to all Cadet Vocational College learners, particularly those enrolled in the BTEC Level 2 qualification in Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community, specifically for Unit 3: Preparing for Employment.
Workshop Objective
The aim of the workshop is to help our young people develop vital employability skills and increase awareness of post-GCSE opportunities, including apprenticeships.
Delivery format
The workshop is a two-hour session delivered online via Zoom. We also offer the option of in-person (face to face) sessions for groups. For more information please contact us.
Workshop outline
Learners will focus on developing practical employability skills, including:
- Creating a good CV
- Interview skills
- Personal skills assessments
- Understanding what employers are looking for
- Overview of the apprenticeship opportunity
The workshop will provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful career planning.
