Qualifications and learner support

Qualifications and learner support

When you enrol on a qualification with us, you can be sure of as much support as you need to complete it. Whether it’s through our network of Regional Managers, a Vocational Qualifications Officer at your youth group or, if you’re an adult volunteer, your Cadet Vocational College assigned mentor, we’ll always be there to help get you through and answer questions along the way.

We also have a lovely Learner Support Services Team at our headquarters in Camberley who will be more than happy to have a chat and point you in the right direction. If you need advice on what to do next, which units you need to tick off, or something as small as requesting a workbook or replacement certificate, they should be your first port of call.

Cadet Vocational College led qualifications:

  • are accessible, affordable and, potentially, life-changing additions for your CV
  • accredit skills valued by employers, including teamwork, communication, leadership and resilience
  • are open to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with a desire to better themselves
  • involve practical and classroom-based work, meaning there’s something for everyone
  • are accredited by Pearson BTEC, ILM and City & Guilds

CVQO-led BTEC qualifications are useful when applying for jobs as employers all want to see teamwork and leadership skills on your CV.

The wonderful thing about doing these courses through cadets is that it gives you the option to get extra qualifications alongside your cadet training.
