It’s free

This BTEC qualification, worth £1250, is **FREE** if you’re aged 16 to 18 and a member of a cadet or public service organisation in England.

Please speak to us if you are based in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland as different funding rules may apply.

It’s flexible

The course is delivered as part of your cadet activities and you may have already completed some of the required work as part of your training through practical activities such as, volunteering in your community and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. You can also choose to take this qualification at your own pace, so you can fit it in around your schoolwork and other responsibilities.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop employability skills and knowledge that is relevant to you in the wider world.
