After qualifying with the NCTJ, Steve started his career in the media working for regional and national newspapers, magazines and in radio before moving into PR, specialising in media relations and crisis management for large consumer-facing companies and also running his own media training business. Later he developed strategic marketing and communications for a leading healthcare charity and latterly, 12 years ago, he joined CVQO.
He is a former cadet and also spent 25 years training CFAVs in media relations and PR. He still works as an occasional freelance broadcaster, linked to his passions of food, music and motorsport.
