Richard has worked at Cadet Vocational College (formerly CVQO) since 2010, following a full career in the Army serving in The Band of The Life Guards, and at the Royal Military School of Music as a Warrant Officer Class 1 (WO1).
He joined CVQO as an Operations Manager to oversee Level 2 & 3 Music BTEC. In 2015, he became the CVQO Southern Area Manager, until moving to his current role in 2024. He is responsible for client relationships with Cadet Vocational College partner organisations, involving management and training of Adult Volunteers and Civilian Staff in the delivery of vocational qualifications ranging from BTEC Level 1 to City and Guilds Level 7 qualifications, but primarily our BTEC Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development (TPD).
Richard lives in Kent. He is a keen horseman and skier and since joining CV College, Richard has continued to perform as a clarinettist and conductor with the Royal Yeomanry Band in the Army Reserve.
